Bio

Graduated in 2004 from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, an institution where, in 2013, she completed her scientific master's degree with a thesis on the topic “Teoria económica da decisão: percurso evolutivo e aplicações jurídico-normativas”, in the specialty of Legal Sciences. Economics, in which she is preparing her doctoral dissertation. She has been a guest assistant at the same faculty since 2016, where she teaches the subjects of Economics I and Economics II, and an associate researcher at CIDP since 2016, integrating the Legistics Research Project in Lusophone Countries and the LegImpact Research Project. She worked in the area of banking supervision at Banco de Portugal, was deputy to the Secretary of State for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and to the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, having ensured the functions of monitoring the legislative procedure in economic, financial and tax matters. Before that, she worked as a lawyer in the same areas, an activity to which she returned in 2011. She has participated as a speaker in conferences on the same topics, and is also the author of works on economic analysis of law, tax law and energy law. . She also works as an arbitrator at the Administrative Arbitration Center, both in the administrative and tax areas.
