Additionally, it is worth highlighting that some administrative and financial powers relating to LPL's activity are exercised by ICJP, its headquarters institution.

José Manuel Sérvulo Correia
PRESIDENT OF THE SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL

Professor Sérvulo obtained his law degree from the University of Lisbon School of Law in 1959. In 1968, he completed the Complementary Course in Political Economic Sciences (equivalent to a Master's degree) at the University of Lisbon School of Law. He obtained his PhD in Law from the University of Lisbon in 1987 and was appointed Full Professor in 2006. He joined the Portuguese Bar Association in 1962.
Maria José Rangel de Mesquita

Maria José Rangel de Mesquita is an Associate Professor with Aggregation at the University of Lisbon School of Law, where she received her doctorate and teaches in European Union Law, Public International Law, International Human Rights Law and International Justice. She was a member, among others, of the Board of Directors of AIDA-Portugal, the Board of Directors of the European Institute for Traffic Law (IDEC-EITL) and the Board of Directors of AREP-University Institution of European Studies and AIDA-Portugal. She was an Advisor Judge at the Constitutional Court between July 2012 and October 2021.

Carlos Blanco de Morais holds a PhD from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, where he is Full Professor of Public Law and Head of the Public Law Department. He is also the first consultant in Public Law to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. He is the Scientific Coordinator of the Lisbon Public Law Research Center.

Miguel Nogueira de Brito

Miguel Nogueira de Brito is Associate Pofessor of Law at the University of Lisbon School of Law. He was also a clerk at the Portuguese Constitutional Court from 2011 to 2007 and a member of the Superior Council of Administrative and Tax Courts from 1991 to 1996.

Gonçalo Fabião graduated in Law (2016) and completed the curricular year of the Master in Legal Science, specializing in Fundamental Rights, at the University of Lisbon School of Law. He holds a Master di II livello in Global Rule of Law and Constitutional Democracy from the University of Genoa, in partnership with the University of Girona. He is enrolled in the PhD in Law at the University of Lisbon School of Law and works as a guest assistant in the same institution. he is also a member of the Lisbon Legal Theory (LLT).

Tiago Fidalgo de Freitas is a Visiting Professor at the University of Lisbon School of Law and a doctoral researcher at the European University Institute (Florence, Italy). She is a guest assistant at the University of Lisbon School of Law, a research assistant in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia team at the NGO «Business & Human Rights Resource Center» and, a member of the Institute of Legal and Political Sciences (ICJP - Instituto de Ciências Jurídico-Políticas) from the University of Lisbon School of Law and Member of LLT – Lisbon Legal Theory.
