Bio
Miguel Assis Raimundo is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Legal and Political Sciences (ICJP - Instituto de Ciências Jurídico-Políticas) of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, where he completed his entire academic career and received his doctorate with a thesis in Administrative Law on public procurement. His research interests lie in this area and also in other areas such as administrative litigation, public civil liability and more recently the right to religious freedom, having also attended a postgraduate course in health law at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University . Along with his academic life, he is a Lawyer and Consultant for several public and private entities. He was a consultant at the Legal Center for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, assigned to the office of the Secretary of State for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. He is a member of the editorial board of the Public Contracts Magazine (Brazil). At the research level, it is worth highlighting the Communication at the “PhD Student Conference on Public Procurement”, under the theme “Direct awarding of public contracts in light of the Portuguese Public Contracts Code” (O ajuste directo nos contratos públicos à luz do Código dos Contratos Públicos português) in Nottingham, in the United Kingdom, as well as a great ability to coordinate with other researchers from the Public Law Research Center in various collective projects and colloquiums.
