On 15 June 2026, the Lisbon Public Law Research Centre will host the conference “The Impact of AI on Fundamental Rights and the Rule of Law as European Values”, bringing together national and international experts to discuss the main legal, regulatory, and ethical challenges posed by artificial intelligence.
Key topics will include the European legal framework for AI, Fundamental Rights Impact Assessments (FRIA), algorithmic discrimination, digital public administration, courts, and the protection of private rights.
