Summary

The Constitutional Theory research group is a reflection group designed to monitor its development, particularly on a methodological basis - namely through monitoring relevant production at this level - and to allow the researchers involved to present and discuss their production among peers. individual or collective prior to its publication, in terms that enhance its quality. It is important to note that researchers are involved from the two quadrants in which the Theory of the Constitution is currently experiencing the greatest development - the Anglo-American quadrant and the continental European quadrant - fostering a dialogue between legal cultures and methodological approaches.

Objectives

Within the scope of the network, the aim is to encourage a discussion of these different contributions in terms that encourage reciprocal discussion and learning, in terms that eventually encourage, from then on, a stabilization of the aforementioned methodology.

Relevance

In addition to the scientific relevance, evidenced by its objectives and the relevance of the mainly methodological discussion that it intends to encourage among the researchers involved (who, as mentioned, are authors of impactful developments in the contemporary moment), the proposal involves the establishment of a partnership between the ICJP-CIDP, the Institut de Recherche Juridique de la Sorbonne and the Constitutional and Administrative Justice Initiative of the University of Essex, with the signing of the respective protocol scheduled for May 26, 2023.
