Bio

Heloisa Warren holds an LL.B. degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2018) and a Master's Degree in Environmental Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2023). As for the latter, her thesis leaned on the legal outcomes that could be expected from the phenomenon of rising sea levels in relation to marine protected areas, a work that was developed under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Fernando Loureiro Bastos, and that was awarded with 18 (eighteen) values and qualified as "Excellent" by the jury. Heloisa participated in the I Luso-Brazilian Congress for International Public Law in 2021 as the Moderator of "Panel 6 - Sea-Level Rise: Challenges for International Law", with interventions by Dr. Patricia Galvão Telles and Dr. Leonardo de Camargo Subtil. She also completed an internship at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute in the first semester of 2022, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Davor Vidas. Currently, she serves as a Jurist/Paralegal at Dr. Isolda Brasil's office in Horta, Azores.
