I Conferência Anual | Lisbon Digital Rights

On October 10, 2024, the 1st Annual Conference “Lisbon Digital Rights 1.0” will take place, organized by “Lisbon Digital Rights” research group of the Lisbon Public Law Research Center of the University of Lisbon School of Law. This is the first annual conference of the group, dedicated to digital regulation(s), a forum for the advancement of knowledge and critical discussion on digital rights.

The event will feature several discussion panels and lectures led by experts in the field of digital regulation. The Conference will begin with a lecture by András Koltay, from the Ludovika Public Service University in Budapest, who will address the topic "Media Regulation". Subsequent panels will explore important topics such as regulation of digital hosting providers, data protection, regulation of artificial intelligence and multi-level digital data regulatory systems, with the participation of national and international academics and professionals from several leading institutions in this context. This event aims to be a platform for exchanging ideas and debating the challenges and opportunities of digital regulation in the current context.
