Bio

Graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law in Bissau (2013); Master’s in Legal-Environmental Sciences from FDUL (2019). He is currently a doctoral candidate in Legal-Political Sciences at FDUL, having completed the coursework in 2022 with a grade of 18/20. He has been a lecturer (assistant) at the Faculty of Law in Bissau since 2013, teaching public law subjects. He is part of the working group on extractive industries, the environment, and human rights violations within the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights (Working Group on Extractive Industries, Environment and Human Rights Violations | African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (au.int)), and is the Focal Point for Guinea-Bissau in the Montevideo Environmental Law Programme (M. Welena da Silva | UNEP Law and Environment Assistance Platform). He is a legal consultant in the areas of Environmental Law, Human Rights, and Land Law.
