Bio
Pedro Silva Pereira holds a Master’s degree in Law (Legal and Political Sciences) from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and is a Lecturer at the same Faculty. His Master’s thesis was entitled ‘The participation of stakeholders in administrative decisions: the public inquiry’. He is currently working on his doctoral thesis, also at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, on “The Binding Force of Sustainable Development Commitments in the New Generation of European Union Trade Agreements – A legal and political perspective”. His academic career includes teaching positions at the University of Los Andes, Faculty of Law, in Bogotá, Colombia; at Stockholm University, Faculty of Law, in Stockholm, Sweden; at Sciences Po, Paris, France; at the Autonomous University of Lisbon, Department of Law; and at Lusíada University, Lisbon. His main areas of expertise are International Trade Law, European Union Law, Public International Law, Environmental Law, Urban Planning Law, Constitutional Law and Political Science.
