Bio
Pedro Delgado Alves has a degree in Law from FDUL, where he is preparing a PhD in Constitutional Law (Statute of Political Office Holders). He has been teaching at the Faculty since 2004.
His research interests focus on Constitutional Law, Political Science and Administrative Law, having published works on the republican principle, electoral systems, structure and organization of Government, access to administrative information, administrative litigation, Environmental Law, Animal Law , administrative organization and religious freedom.
Since 2011, he has been a Deputy to the Assembly of the Republic, having recently followed the legislative processes of the RGPD Execution Law, the Law on Access to Administrative Documents, the Nationality Law, transparency in the exercise of public positions, civil legal status and animal crime, the review of the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly of the Republic and the assessment of the gender impact of normative acts.
Since 2022, he has also been a member of the State Secret Supervision Entity.
