Bio
Mafalda Carmona is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, where she completed her PhD on Civil Liability of Public Entities, and Assistant Professor at ICJP, in the areas of Administrative Law, Administrative Litigation and Civil Liability of Public Entities. She is a lawyer, being a founding partner of Lobo Carmona & Associados, and also works as a legal consultant and arbitrator. She graduated in 1998 from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon with a score of 17/20, having then obtained a Master's degree from the same institution in 2002, with a score of 18/20, and a PhD in 2015, with distinction and unanimous praise (score of 18/20). She is frequently invited to speak at conferences, having already taught at CEJ, the Bar Association, the Catholic University and the INA.
