Bio

Eduardo Correia Baptista is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Legal and Political Sciences (ICJP - Instituto de Ciências Jurídico-Políticas) of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, has a PhD from the same institution and is a Researcher at the Center for Research in Public Law (CIDP - Centro de Investigação em Direito Público). His published work and main research focuses focus predominantly on the areas of Public International Law and Constitutional Law. Firstly, refer to his master's dissertations Ius Cogens in International Law and his doctorate dissertations “O Uso da Força pelas Nações Unidas em especial”, as well as the two volumes of his lessons Public International Law. In the area of Constitutional Law, the Rights of Assembly and Demonstration in Portuguese Law or the Fundamental Rights and Judicial Control of Constitutionality in Classical Athens. He has also given interventions at national and international conferences and colloquiums on these matters. He taught subjects in legal branches that include the Introduction to the Study of Law, Public International Law, Fundamental Rights, Constitutional Law or Urban Planning Law.
