Event Description
In February we will be looking at a topic that might be a blind spot for some of us but is definitely of global interest. How is climate change affecting the biodiversity and ecosystems of the Arctic? How is Russia balancing economic interests and environmental stewardship in the Arctic? How can the Arctic Council enhance its role in promoting sustainable development in the region? This interdisciplinary discussion will explore critical issues at the intersection of climate change, Russian policy, and the role of the Arctic Council.
