Vitalino Canas

Graduated, Master and Doctorate from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, has taught at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau (where he was Course coordinator), at the Faculty of Law of the Eduardo Mondlane University, in Mozambique and at the Lusófona University. He served as Chief of Staff of the Governor of Macau (1989-1991), Secretary of State for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (1995-2002), Deputy to the Assembly of the Republic (1999-2019), Vice-President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (2017-2019). He is Honorary Consul of the Republic of Korea (2020-…). He is President of the Brazil Europe Integration Forum (2021-… ..). He is a member of the Board of the Portuguese Commission for the Atlantic. He practices law, being a partner at Vitalino Canas e Associados, RL, Sociedade de Advogados.
