Bio
Shiyue Lu has a master's degree in International Law and International Relations from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2021) and a degree in Portuguese Language and Culture from the Beijing University of Foreign Studies (2017). She is currently a PhD candidate in International and European Legal Sciences at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and an assistant researcher at the Lisbon Public Law Research Centre, where she is preparing her thesis entitled “China ’s Pathway towards the Peaceful Settlement of International Disputes”. Her research interests focus on the areas of Public International Law and the peaceful resolution of international conflicts, alongside a research focus on international courts and dispute settlement mechanisms.
