Bio

Sandra Lopes Luís has a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (FDUL), having completed a master's degree (2008) and doctorate (2018) at the same Faculty. She was a Trainee Assistant at FDUL between 2007 and 2010 – assigned to teach in Mozambique, under the Cooperation Agreement signed between FDUL and the Faculty of Law at Eduardo Mondlane University. She was a Guest Assistant at FDUL between 2010 and 2018. She is a Guest Assistant Professor at FDUL from 2018 to the present, having taught the subjects of Administrative Law, Administrative Litigation, Administrative Organisation, Public Employment Law, Protection of Personal Data and Access to Administrative Information, Fundamental Rights and Introduction to the Study of Law. Sandra was an effective member of the FDUL Pedagogical Council between 2018 and 2022, and is currently an effective member of the FDUL School Council since 2022. Her research interests focus on the areas of Administrative Law, Administrative Litigation, Constitutional Law and Public Law of Lusofonia, with several texts and monographs published in this field. Her doctoral thesis is dedicated to the study of administrative relations between individuals and, since 2020, has coordinated the Postgraduate Course in Civil Protection Law, in partnership with the Ministry of Internal Administration. She collaborates with the Center for Judicial Studies in training activities and as a member of the oral exam jury for the Judge Training Course for the Administrative and Tax Courts. She is a trainer at the General Directorate for the Qualification of Workers in Public Functions (INA) on topics dedicated to administrative law. She was an Advisor to the Office of Judges of the Constitutional Court.
